Youth Rock Climbing Camp 6 Day

This summer, enjoy the exhilarating adventure of rock climbing on the spectacular granite of Donner Pass. Learn the fundamentals of the climbing safety system – including the use of the rope, belaying, anchoring, and rappeling. Master techniques needed to conquer cracks, slabs, and steep faces.

Lead Instructor, Peter Mayfield has designed and delivered creative and successful outdoor educational programs for thousands of California youth. As a creative mountaineer Peter has succeeded on first ascents on Yosemite's El Capitan and Half Dome, climbed new routes in Peru, Patagonia and the Alaska Range, and has also competed in sport climbing World Cups as well as Cross Country Skiing US Nationals.

Assistant Instructor, Annie Overlin is one of the top women climbers in California and has accomplished many difficult routes throughout the US and Europe. Annie is a botanist, environmental consultant, and educator.
