Ski Norway By Boat 8 Day 
This unique and very interesting trip allows us the opportunity to skin up a different peak each day from the deck of a boat. The same boat we live on and travel from fjord to fjord. This trip provides excellent skiing in a majestic setting combined with Norwegian culture and heritage. We ski perfectly angled slopes from sea level, without the additional burden of high altitude.
The snow conditions of this Norwegian maritime climate are usually spring-like, but because of its northerly latitude, can still provide plenty of soft, cold snow as well. The latitude allows us late morning starts, returning to the boat by late afternoon. Weather is quite variable, a sunny morning can soon turn to a winter-like snow storm, leaving fresh new snow or vice-versa.

The Boat:
Polar Girl is a 100 foot long steel-hulled arctic ferry boat that has been converted to a ski cruiser. It's not a luxury cruise ship but more like a swiss mountain Hütte that sails from fjord to fjord. It accomodates 25 people comfortably with rooms of 2 or 4 berths. It has bathrooms with 3 showers. Breakfasts are provided similarly to in European mountain huts and dinners are prepared by the staff. Beer and wine are also available. There is a sauna and hot tub on the deck.
Itinerary:
Day 1, April 12, Saturday
Arrive in Tromsø and transfer to our boat, Polar Girl, our home for the next week.
Day 2-7
We ski a new mountain each day. Your guide will choose the best route based on weather, conditions and skiing desires to ensure the best possible skiing experience. There are literally hundreds of peaks to choose from, from Lyngen to Kä fjord with something for everyone, all in amazing alpine scenery among arctic fjords.
Day 8, April 19, Saturday
Transfer to airport and fly home or continue your vacation in Norway.
Spending more time in Tromsø:
Enjoy sight seeing in the colorful city center or more skiing on Tromsdalstind overlooking the city and enjoying numerous restaurants for dinner.
